We start by picking a time to sit down with you at my office.  There’s no charge or obligation for the first meeting.  We’ll discuss the charge against you, look at the statute or ordinance you are accused of violating, cover the facts and the allegations against you and look at defenses.  We will also cover the court system and how your case will progress, including what to expect at each step of the way.  Attorney-client privilege keeps our discussion confidential, whether you hire me or not.

Often the prosecution has a strong case.  If so, there are many ways to minimize the cost and disruption to you and the lives of your loved ones.  We can discuss the options available to you and determine the best way to proceed with your individual case.  Every case is different.  Some defendants have a criminal record, some have addiction problems, some simply made a mistake and are experiencing our criminal system for the first time. I have experience dealing with mental issues as part of our defense.  I will work hard to get the best outcome for you.
