When you’ve been charged with a crime, you need effective legal representation and information. Let me put my 39 years experience to work for you.
State or municipal cases.
We start by picking a time to sit down with you at my office. There’s no charge or obligation for the first meeting. We’ll discuss the charge against you, look at the statute or ordinance you are accused of violating, cover the facts and the allegations against you and look at defenses. We will also cover the court system and how your case will progress, including what to expect at each step of the way. Attorney-client privilege keeps our discussion confidential, whether you hire me or not.
Often the prosecution has a strong case. If so, there are many ways to minimize the cost and disruption to you and the lives of your loved ones. We can discuss the options available to you and determine the best way to proceed with your individual case. Every case is different. Some defendants have a criminal record, some have addiction problems, some simply made a mistake and are experiencing our criminal system for the first time. I have experience dealing with mental issues and substance abuse as part of our defense. I will work hard to get the best outcome for you.
After we figure out what your case is likely to involve, I will set my fee. I am reasonable. I charge based upon the amount of work your case is likely to need. Remember, this meeting is without cost or obligation. My office is centrally located at the corner of Classen Boulevard and NW 19th. I’m 10 minutes from the Courthouse. Call me to schedule your no cost appointment.
Sometimes defendants show up in court without an attorney. Some judges order these defendants to be back in an hour and a half with an attorney. I can usually accommodate these emergencies. Call me and if I’m not in court, we can sit down in ten minutes and get started on your defense.
